JAK is proud of our history of community partnership. In our short time at Kingwood High School, we achieved the following community-wide projects:

Built an outdoor classroom on the KHS Campus
Developed District-Wide opportunity to Partner with Waste Management to secure wood for our Career And Technology Education Construction Trades Classes to use on various projects
Developed a partnership with Showcase Carpets for carpet remnants for our Career And Technology Education Construction Trades Classes on cat condo construction. The classes sold the cat condos and used profits to fund their classroom needs
Fabrics & More - providing fabric for Theater, Audio/Video Technology and Fashion Design Classes
ModernHome Renovation - Business Affiliation with Construction Trades Class
Adopted Lakeland Elementary (Title 1) School 2nd Grade
Gift of Shoes Project to provide much-needed athletic shoes to families across the district
